Furniture Restoration in Boerne, TX

Boerne sits about 30 minutes northwest of San Antonio along I-10, anchored by a Hauptstrasse main street that still reads as a small German town: Dienger Building, Kendall Inn, the old St. Helena's. Most of our Boerne customers live around Cordillera Ranch, Fair Oaks Ranch, Tapatio Springs, or out toward Sisterdale and Waring on acreage with horses and barns. Homes here run heavily to limestone-and-cedar Hill Country style, and the furniture inside follows suit — heirloom pine harvest tables, old German pie safes, leather-and-wood ranch pieces, and Sunday-house antiques passed down four generations.

Two things hammer Boerne furniture. The first is Cibolo Creek — when low-water crossings flood (which they do, hard, every few years), garages and detached cottages take on water and pine cabinets, oak dressers, and upholstered family pieces come to us soaked and warped. The second is the cedar-belt humidity swing combined with intense west-facing UV; we see a lot of sun-bleached refectory tops and seam-split veneers from ranch-style great rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Mold remediation on barn-stored antiques is a steady call from this zip code.
