Furniture Restoration in Universal City, TX

Universal City is a small Northeast Bexar County city built around the gates of Randolph Air Force Base. The customer base is heavily military — active duty, retired, and DoD civilian — meaning the furniture inventory turns over with PCS cycles and includes a lot of pieces shipped through the military's TMO moving system. Neighborhoods like Northview Estates, Olympia Hills, and the older sections near Pat Booker Road run mostly to brick ranches and 70s-80s split-levels.

PCS-move damage is the defining Universal City furniture issue. We see splintered case goods, cracked leg joints, and shipping-blanket residue stuck to finishes from cross-country and overseas DITY moves. Many customers also bring in pieces purchased overseas during European or Asian assignments — German schranks, Japanese tansu, Italian inlay tables — that need climate-acclimation repair after a few Texas summers. Smoke and grease damage from restaurant equipment along the Pat Booker corridor is also a recurring source of work at nearby properties.
