Highland Lakes Furniture Care
Weathersby Guild proudly serves Marble Falls and the Highland Lakes region. As a growing community between Austin and the Hill Country, Marble Falls residents have a mix of lakefront homes, vacation properties, and family estates with furniture worth preserving. We serve Marble Falls from our San Antonio location with free pickup and delivery.
Marble Falls sits on Lake Marble Falls and Lake LBJ in the Highland Lakes chain, about 45 miles northwest of Austin. The market is heavily lake-house and second-home — Horseshoe Bay's master-planned resort community, Meadowlakes, and the older lakefront subdivisions hold the bulk of our customers. Most pieces we collect are either lake-house practical (heavy upholstered, durable wood) or inherited heirlooms brought in by retirees relocating from Houston, Dallas, or Austin to lake-living.
The Highland Lakes climate cycle is the defining issue. Lake-front homes get intense reflected sun off the water, baking finishes; humidity off the lake at night swells joints; and the seasonal pattern of opening and closing lake houses means pieces sit in extreme conditions. Boat-and-dock outdoor furniture takes hard UV, sunscreen residue, and lake-water splash. Estate work for retirees consolidating multiple homes is a steady source of antique restoration calls from this area.

The Highland Lakes region is a top vacation destination. We work with property managers and vacation rental owners to keep furniture in top condition between guests.
The Colorado River watershed brings flooding risks to the Highland Lakes area. We restore furniture damaged by storms and flooding at our workshop; we do not perform cleanup or structural drying of homes.
We offer complimentary pickup and delivery throughout Marble Falls and the Highland Lakes region. From Horseshoe Bay to Granite Shoals and Kingsland, we make restoration convenient.
Marble Falls restoration pricing depends on the furniture type and damage. Highland Lakes properties often have pieces affected by lakefront humidity, water damage from Colorado River flooding, or wear from vacation rental use. Free photo estimates are available at mark@weathersbyguild.com or by calling (210) 251-3019.
Yes, we offer complimentary pickup and delivery throughout Marble Falls and the Highland Lakes, including Horseshoe Bay, Cottonwood Shores, Granite Shoals, Kingsland, and Spicewood. We coordinate pickups across the Burnet County area to serve the entire lake region.
Highland Lakes homeowners commonly need water damage restoration from Lake LBJ and Lake Marble Falls flooding, mold remediation for lakefront and vacation homes, antique restoration for the area's established properties, furniture refinishing for vacation rental properties between guests, and fire damage repair. We also serve Horseshoe Bay resort properties.
Timelines for Marble Falls projects depend on the scope of work and our current workload. Water damage and mold remediation from lakefront conditions may require extended drying time for proper results. We work with vacation property managers to coordinate turnaround between guest bookings. Call (210) 251-3019 to discuss your needs.
“Weathersby Guild performed a remarkable job refinishing and restoring a frame that has become a family heirloom. It matched perfectly with the restored photograph of my great grandmother that it has held for well over 100 years. Thanks Mark and Mimi! Awesome job!”

“Excellent job by Weathersby Guild. Our church Communion Table is almost 100 years old and was in need of a facelift. I contacted Mimi, Weathersby’s Manager, and she was extremely helpful. The estimate arrived right away, and pick up was arranged. They refinished the table at an excellent price, and quickly, too. Michael and Manuel did an outstanding job. Both of them are extremely friendly, dedicated, and professional. Thank you for a job well done. We would highly recommend Weathersby Guild for your refinishing needs. I will certainly use them again.”
