Serving the Heart of the I-35 Corridor
Weathersby Guild is proud to serve Kyle, one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Nestled in Hays County along the I-35 corridor at the midpoint between San Antonio and Austin, Kyle has become a destination for families seeking affordable living without sacrificing access to big-city amenities. Whether you have brought cherished heirloom furniture to your new Kyle home or need restoration for pieces damaged during a move, our expert craftsmen deliver museum-quality results with free pickup and delivery throughout Kyle and surrounding communities.
Kyle sits along I-35 between Austin and San Marcos in northern Hays County. Once a small ranching crossroads, it's become one of the I-35 corridor's fastest-growing suburbs — Plum Creek, Anthem, 6 Creeks, and Crosswinds make up most of our service base. The customer mix is heavily relocation-driven: families moving from Austin proper for affordability, plus a steady transplant flow from out of state. Furniture inventory is a mix of brought-from-elsewhere pieces and locally bought transitional sets.
Kyle's defining issue is the I-35 corridor mix of move damage and clay-soil settling. Hays County clay shifts under slabs aggressively, and we see dressers and china cabinets that won't sit level after a year. Plum Creek floods occasionally — the 2015 flood and several smaller events brought us water-damage work that's still being processed. Cross-country move damage on out-of-state arrivals is the steady volume call. New-build attic storage is a quiet killer of the 'we'll deal with it later' furniture pile.

“Excellent job by Weathersby Guild. Our church Communion Table is almost 100 years old and was in need of a facelift. I contacted Mimi, Weathersby’s Manager, and she was extremely helpful. The estimate arrived right away, and pick up was arranged. They refinished the table at an excellent price, and quickly, too. Michael and Manuel did an outstanding job. Both of them are extremely friendly, dedicated, and professional. Thank you for a job well done. We would highly recommend Weathersby Guild for your refinishing needs. I will certainly use them again.”

“The Weathersby Guild was assigned to us by our moving company after some of our furniture was damaged. The work they did was phenomenal. Their attention to care and detail is outstanding. Our damaged wooden pieces look brand new. They get a 10 out of 10!”
