Weathersby Guild provides professional furniture restoration services including but not limited to water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, antique restoration, furniture refinishing, pet damage repair, mold remediation, and commercial furniture services.
Photo estimates are approximate. The final price is confirmed after we inspect the piece. If the scope changes, we contact you for approval before proceeding. Price ranges shown on this website are informational and are not an offer or quote. Your quote is based on your piece. Timelines shown on this website are typical estimates, not guarantees. Actual timing depends on the project and our current workload.
Photo-based estimates are free for typical projects. For extensive projects, such as large collections, estates, multi-room or commercial jobs, or itemized documentation, Weathersby Guild reserves the right to charge an estimate fee. Whether a job qualifies is decided case by case, based on the project and the customer. Any estimate fee will be quoted and agreed with you before any estimate work begins, and it is not credited toward the cost of restoration work.
In-home and on-site visits and commercial site evaluations are arranged by contacting us, and the service call fee is quoted per job. Visiting our workshop by appointment, to see our work, is free of charge.
We serve San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas including Boerne, New Braunfels, Helotes, Schertz, Seguin, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Cedar Park. Pickup and delivery are free within our primary service area (the cities on our service area map and location pages). Outside it, contact us and we will quote the fee for your location.
For restoration work, 50% of the agreed price is due before work begins and the remaining 50% is due after the repair is completed, before or at the return of the piece. For moving damage claims, when you contact us directly as a private customer, the inspection fee and the written estimate prepared for your claim are due up front. When we are assigned to a claim by a moving company or insurer, they pay us directly. We accept cash, credit card, and check. Payment terms are confirmed with you when the work is approved. Any estimate fee is separate and is not credited toward restoration work.
All of our work carries a 1-year warranty on our workmanship. The warranty covers our workmanship only. It does not cover customer-supplied fabric or materials, coasters or accessories, hardware, or any parts.
We photograph and record the condition of each piece at pickup and again at delivery. Those records document the piece's condition.
Antiques, veneers, and old glues and finishes can hide damage or weaken during restoration. We are not responsible for pre-existing weakness or damage. If we find such issues, we will tell you before proceeding.
Exact color, sheen, or grain matching is not guaranteed, and repairs to aged pieces may remain visible.
Fabric and other materials you supply are used at your own risk. We may decline materials that are unsuitable for the work. As stated under Warranty, our warranty does not cover customer-supplied materials.
We may decline a piece, or require disclosure, where it has mold, soot, pests, or other hazards.
We take every precaution to protect your furniture during restoration. Our liability for any piece is limited to the amount paid for the work on that piece, unless you declare a higher value in writing before work begins.
We provide documentation to support insurance claims. We do not guarantee claim outcomes or coverage decisions.
Virtual inspection is a paid service. The report is not an appraisal or a legal opinion, and we do not guarantee how an insurer or any other party will use or accept it.
The chat assistant on this website can make mistakes. Its answers are not quotes, estimates, or commitments. Please confirm details with our team.
With your permission, we may photograph pieces before and after restoration for our portfolio and marketing. You can opt out at any time by telling us.
When your work is complete, we will notify you. You have 30 days from that notice to collect your piece. After 30 days, storage fees may apply, and we will quote them in advance. Pieces left unclaimed for an extended period after written notice may be treated as abandoned in accordance with applicable Texas law.
Please tell us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. If you cancel after work has begun, the 50% paid up front is retained. Up-front payments may also be non-refundable where materials have already been ordered.
