Furniture Restoration in Dripping Springs, TX

Dripping Springs — the self-styled 'Gateway to the Hill Country' — has grown from a sleepy crossroads west of Austin into one of the metro's hottest markets, anchored by US-290's wedding-venue corridor, Hamilton Pool Road's distillery row, and master-planned communities like Caliterra, Belterra, and Headwaters. Customers split between long-time ranchers in the unincorporated stretches (Henly, Driftwood, Sycamore Creek) and newer residents in stone-and-metal modern farmhouses outfitted with reclaimed-wood dining tables and custom upholstery.

Two patterns dominate. First, the wedding-venue economy: barn venues, B&Bs, and short-term-rental cabins go through hard wear cycles, and we get a steady stream of refinishing and refresh work on commercial-grade dining and lounge furniture. Second, the limestone-and-cedar new-build aesthetic uses a lot of reclaimed-wood and rustic finishes that don't always cure properly — we see early failures on hand-applied finishes and we refinish pieces to a smooth, level surface instead of the raw live-edge look. Hamilton Creek floods occasionally, too.
